On 16^th June, 2024, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International, China Communications and Transportation Association and the UNIDO ITPO Beijing jointly released the "Global Top 50 Companies in Logistics and Transport", providing authoritative and comprehensive enterprise evaluations and in-depth industry insights for the global logistics industry and beyond.

This list innovatively adopts a multidimensional, professional, and transparent evaluation system, focusing not only on the scale of enterprise revenue and profitability but also including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in the scope of consideration. The quantitative evaluation used the z-score method.After data standardization, the top 60 list was obtained according to the formula Ƒ(x)= [operating revenue ×0.7+ market value ×0.2+ operating profit ×0.1] ×0.8+ [operating profit rate ×0.5+ return on shareholders' equity ×0.5] ×0.2. Subsequently, according to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and ESG standards, combined with the latest financial annual report of the enterprise, the cross-border expert team was strictly reviewed and finally selected the most representative and influential "Global Top 50 Companies in Logistics and Transport".

In the global economic landscape, the logistics industry, as a key link connecting production and consumption, is becoming increasingly important. According to statistics, the global logistics market size has reached 8.96 trillion US dollars in 2023, and it is expected to double to 18.23 trillion US dollars by 2030. Behind this growth trend are the deepening of global trade, the rise of e-commerce, continuous technological progress, and the ongoing optimization of supply chain management.
