The Airport Economic Zone of Beijing Daxing International Airport functions as the international exchange center, the innovation-driven area for national aviation science and technology, and the demonstration area of the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The overall area under the jurisdiction of the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone covers about 1,028 sq. km. The Airport Economic Zone occupies 150 sq.km., including about 50 sq. km. in Beijing and 100 sq. km. in Langfang, Hebei Province. Following the principle of “overall administration and intensive development”, we are striving to build three core functional areas, such as aviation logistics area, science, and technology innovation area, and service support area, to create an international and high-end airport economy leading model city featuring technology innovation-driven development, skilled personnel pool, and digital ecological livability.
