As a landmark achievement of the China·Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair (Langfang Fair) and The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Langfang Conference (CILT Langfang Conference), the “Global Top 50 Enterprises in Logistics and Transport” ranking has been released for three consecutive years since 2024, consistently providing authoritative insights for the industry and promoting innovation and sustainable development in the logistics sector.

On 16 June 2026, the 2026 China·Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair will officially open, and the new edition of the ranking will be unveiled simultaneously. From its debut in 2024 to its current status as an industry bellwether, the evaluation criteria have been continuously iterated and innovated over the three editions. What new signals will this year’s ranking reveal? The answer is coming soon.

2024: First release, establishing a “quantitative + qualitative” two-stage evaluation

When first released in 2024, the ranking established a rigorous two-step evaluation mechanism:

Quantitative evaluation: Globally screen listed companies that meet the definition of “global logistics enterprises”, first determine a shortlist based on revenue thresholds, then calculate weighted scores based on two indicators (scale and efficiency) to select 100 candidate enterprises, with the top 60 advancing to the next round.

Qualitative evaluation: Comprehensively evaluate the 60 companies using ESG information disclosed in the latest annual reports and data from international ESG rating agencies, ultimately determining the Top 50 ranking.

In 2024, the industry was undergoing profound transformation under the waves of globalisation and digitalisation. The Top 50 ranking, through multi-dimensional assessment, identified the true leaders among publicly listed global logistics enterprises, providing a clear and comprehensive perspective on the logistics industry in transition.

2025: Further innovation – upgrades across three dimensions

The 2025 evaluation was comprehensively optimised based on the 2024 framework. It incorporated ESG indicators quantitatively and adjusted indicator weights, becoming the first authoritative evaluation system in the global logistics industry to integrate the three dimensions of scale, efficiency and ESG – thereby fully measuring enterprises’ comprehensive competitiveness in a complex international environment.

Against the backdrop of the global logistics industry’s focus on “cost reduction and efficiency improvement”, the Top 50 ranking, while paying attention to enterprise scale and efficiency, also pointed towards long-term sustainable directions for cost optimisation, offering reference ideas for the industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

2026: Comprehensive iteration once again

The 2026 ranking and report have been fully upgraded based on previous years’ research, innovatively adding core content such as analysis of enterprises’ ranking changes over the past three years and dedicated enterprise profiles. It deeply analyses the development patterns and growth logic of leading logistics enterprises. The evaluation system has been further optimised, integrating the three core dimensions of scale, efficiency and ESG, and ensuring the professionalism and authority of the research results through scientific data measurement and expert review mechanisms.

Three consecutive years of upgrades, capturing signals of industrial change

Over the past three years, the evaluation criteria of the Top 50 ranking have constantly adjusted to the industry’s pulse: from an initial focus on scale and efficiency, to introducing quantitative ESG evaluation, and this year for the first time incorporating supply chain resilience indicators into quantitative analysis. This continuous upgrading of the evaluation system reflects a keen capture of changes in the global logistics industry.

On 16 June 2026, the 2026 Langfang Fair will once again release the “Global Top 50 Enterprises in Logistics and Transport”. At present, data research for the 2026 ranking has been progressing in a comprehensive and orderly manner. We sincerely invite the entire industry to follow the release of this annual heavyweight achievement, to witness together the iteration of the leading landscape in the global logistics industry, and to grasp future development opportunities and trends.

Attached are the 2025 Global Top 50 Enterprises in Logistics and Transport by Revenue, by Market Value, and by Profit. The rankings provide systematic analysis from three dimensions: freight type structure, track concentration, and country/region distribution. Together with the impact of global economic and trade conditions, geopolitical dynamics, industrial and supply chain changes, and technological advances on the industry, they form the data and theoretical foundation for the “Global Top 50 Enterprises in Logistics and Transport” to be released on 16 June 2026.
