Dear CILT families,
I am Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY, International President of CILT International, and it is a great honour for me to extend, on behalf of CILT International, a warm welcome and a cordial invitation to our CILT family to the CILT International Convention 2024 on this wonderful occasion.
This year, we are celebrating the 105th anniversary of CILT. We have been committed to the development of the logistics and transport industry since its establishment in 1919, and have witnessed the industry’s prosperity from its beginning to the present day, as well as the love and dedication of every one of our members to the industry. In this era of opportunities and challenges, the logistics, transport and supply chain industry is facing unprecedented change. The rapid technological development, markets globalization and environmental sustainability and other issues are all placing new demands on us. However, we believe that as long as professionals in the industry work closely together to address the challenges and grasp the opportunities, we will able to lead the industry to a brighter future.
The economic development of China has created enormous opportunities for the Chinese people and the world, and I believe that a strong, prosperous China that supports and invests in the international system is a positive force for the world. In view of this, I am full of expectations and confidence for the CILT International Convention 2024, which will be held in China from 16 to 18 June. Langfang, China, where the convention will be held, is a vibrant and innovative city. We look forward to sharing with you the latest development in the industry and discussing future trends, as well as making new friends, establishing new cooperation, and jointly promoting the development of the logistics and transport industry.
Finally, I would like to thank all my colleagues who are working so hard to make the IC 2024 a successful event. At the same time, I would also like to thank all members and friends for your support, which gives us the confidence and ability to continue to contribute to the development of the global logistics and transport industry.
Let us work hand in hand to start the exciting journey of this convention, and inject new momentum into the future development of the logistics and transport industry!

I am Wang Ensen, President of CILT China. On behalf of CILT China, it is my great pleasure to extend a sincere invitation to you for the CILT International Convention 2024!
Since its establishment in 2005, CILT China has been committed to promoting the internationalization of China's logistics and transportation industry, building Bridges, promoting international exchanges and cooperation between governments and enterprises, helping employees to improve their professional quality and business level, and contributing our strength to the development of the industry. We have also organized Chinese members and colleagues to participate in CILT International Conventions held in Dubai of UAE, Montreal of Canada, London of UK, etc.
With the theme of “Leading the Sustainable Development of Logistics and Transport”, the IC 2024 will explore the cutting-edge issues of sustainable international supply chain system and business logistics development. We believe that this convention will not only provide you with a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences and discussing cooperation, but also inject new impetus for the sustainable development of the logistics and transport industry.
AS the world’s largest developing country, China is attracting global attention with its unique charm. Langfang, a vibrant city with its excellent geographical location and profound cultural heritage, has become the venue for our international convention this year. We look forward to opening an unforgettable exchange journey with you here.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to CILT International and branches for their experience sharing and selfless support to the preparation of the IC 2024. With your care and help, CILT China has been able to develop steadily and is contributing to the progress of the international logistics and transport industry.
I am looking forward to interacting with you at the IC 2024 in the blossoming month of June. CILT China and Langfang Municipal Government have made full preparations and we will wholeheartedly provide you with thoughtful service to ensure that the participants in a comfortable environment to talk, have something to gain, and make the trip worthwhile. At the same time, we have also carefully planned a series of exciting activities and contents, and strive to show a Chinese characteristics of the CILT International Convention,so that you can participate in the experience of the charm of Chinese culture, and work together to promote the sustainable development of logistics and transportation industry.
